MADRID – A 15-year-old British girl is in a serious condition in hospital after falling from a balcony in Mallorca, following calls this week to close a “vile” Spanish website that ranks countries by the number of tourists‘ deaths and injuries.
The teenager suffered multiple injuries after falling from a first-floor apartment in Sant Llorenç des Cardassar on Tuesday night, police said. The Spanish civil guard has launched an investigation into the accident.
Scottish MSP Christina McKelvie, Scotland’s minister for drugs and alcohol policy, called this week for the closure of a website run by a group terming itself the Balearic Federation of Balconing, which she condemned for glorifying these incidents. Read More:
