ADA, MI — A new, 36-room boutique hotel has opened in downtown Ada, an attraction that officials are calling the “capstone” of a large-scale redevelopment that has brought new restaurants, retailers, office space and more to the West Michigan community.
Rising along the Thornapple River, Ada Hotel boasts a modern, stylish design with two restaurants, a rooftop patio and a host of flourishes that pay tribute to the town’s history and earliest residents.
“Our vision was to create a hotel that feels warm, welcoming, and inviting—a place where you can truly feel at home,” said Cheri DeVos, owner of Ada Hotel. “We want our guests to experience the charm of Ada and discover what makes this community a wonderful place to live, work, play, and now, stay.”
The hotel has been envisioned in downtown Ada since at least 2018, but it has been delayed until now due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the original developer dropping out.
Relics of Ada’s past are sprinkled throughout the three-story hotel. READ MORE:
